KiwiChat is a US-based company that offers services for prison facilities. Its primary product is a super app designed for incarcerated individuals, their friends, and family members. The company also sells digital and physical products.
As a Lead UX/UI Designer, my role involves designing the mobile and web app ecosystem from scratch, defining touchpoints and user flows, introducing hypotheses, working directly with the Head of Product and Product Managers, and preparing handoffs. I guide the brand and graphics team to ensure a clear understanding of the product and vision.

Problem
Incarcerated individuals and their loved ones face significant hurdles due to limited access to modern communication technologies. Kiwichat aims to spearhead a revolution in this space by addressing the challenges of connectivity and accessibility faced by this community, empowering them to stay connected in an increasingly digital world.
I began this project with a blank slate, collaborating closely with stakeholders to delve into this project and deliver the best solutions. The project entails developing multiple interrelated applications across various platforms, catering to diverse end-users' needs.
